Fold up your tents and surf. Prompted by the surf forecasts, grabbed a glorious weekend at Fistral Beach early this month. Wanting to play with our new camping gear, we abandoned our plans to surf and snorkel in Sardinia, and returned SW to Croyde in Devon. Not so smart. The tail end of a storm off the Atlantic not only tried to turn the new 1-season tent into a kite, it also blew all the surf out. Gave us a chance to explore Dartmoor a little, where Miki took some great pix, and to visit legendary Widdecombe Fair. And of course Miki, now proud owner of her own wetsuit and board, can ride anything on a bodyboard. In the end I relented and rented, bodyboarding in with her through the foam zone.
